When a Card Die Becomes a Scrapbook Layout
Some of my favorite creative moments happen when I stop following the rules and start asking, “What else could this do?”
This video came from one of those moments.
Instead of using a card die the traditional way, I challenged myself to think bigger, literally. What if a card die could become part of a scrapbook layout? What if something small and inexpensive could stretch further than we ever intended?
The result was a layout that felt fresh, clever, and incredibly satisfying to make.
Thinking Beyond the Intended Use
Craft supplies are investments, and I love finding ways to get more out of what we already have.
Card dies are often labeled as “just for cards,” but with a little creativity and curiosity, they can become so much more. In this project, I used a card die as a foundational design element for a scrapbook layout, proving that size doesn’t limit impact.
This approach is about working smarter, not harder.
