Some lives are planned.
Others arrive exactly when they’re meant to.

On November 29, we gathered for a Crafty Chat that held more meaning than I could have anticipated. This live brought together reflection, remembrance, creativity, and a glimpse into what’s ahead, including Anna Griffin Create 2026 and a preview of my upcoming Zoom class on December 6.

This was an at-home live, shared from my own space, and it felt personal, heartfelt, and grounding.

Louie’s Legacy

Part of this conversation centered on Louie and the quiet, lasting impact he had on my life.

Louie’s legacy isn’t about a single moment. It’s about presence, loyalty, love, and the way small lives leave permanent imprints on our hearts. Sharing this story in a creative space felt right, because crafting has always been one of the ways I process, remember, and honor what matters most.

This was a reminder that creativity and memory are deeply connected.

About the Live

This Crafty Chat was conversational and reflective, with space for storytelling, community connection, and looking ahead.

We talked about:

  • Louie’s legacy and remembrance
  • The heart behind continuing to create
  • Early excitement for Anna Griffin Create 2026
  • A preview of my December 6 Zoom class and mini book project

It was a blend of past, present, and future, all in one conversation.

Looking Ahead to Create 2026

Even as we reflected, there was a sense of excitement for what’s coming.

Create 2026 already carries a feeling of intention, growth, and community. Conversations like this remind me why showing up year after year matters. Creativity isn’t just about projects. It’s about continuity, relationships, and honoring the journey.

Being able to look forward while still honoring what’s behind us is a gift.

December 6 Zoom Class Preview

During the live, I also shared a preview of my upcoming Zoom class on December 6, including a sneak peek at the mini book project.

This class is rooted in reflection, memory keeping, and creating something meaningful to carry forward. It felt fitting to introduce it during a conversation about legacy and intention.

More details are coming, but this preview was about planting the seed.

Crafting as Connection

This live reminded me that crafting spaces hold room for everything, joy, grief, excitement, anticipation, and gratitude.

You don’t have to separate your life from your creativity. They inform each other. They support each other. And together, they help us tell the stories that matter most.

Grateful for This Community

If you joined this Crafty Chat live or watched the replay, thank you for being part of a moment that felt especially meaningful.

As we move toward the close of the year, I’m deeply grateful for this community, for the conversations we share, and for the way creativity continues to bring us together.

With gratitude,
Martha
